About Hear And Do Ministries

Our story, our calling, and the people walking it out together.

Our Mission

Study Diligently. Teach Clearly. Walk Faithfully.

Hear And Do Ministries exists to study the whole of Scripture diligently and teach what we learn in a way that is clear, edifying, and easy to understand — for people from every background, at every stage of their walk with Yahweh.

We believe the Word was never meant to stop at the ear. Every teaching, every study, and every gathering is aimed at the same goal: helping hearers become doers, so that faith takes visible shape in ordinary life — at home, in family, and in community.

Our Name

"Hear And Do" comes from the words of James: "Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves" (James 1:22). It is a daily reminder that hearing the Word and obeying it are meant to be one movement, not two.

Leadership

Meet Our Teacher

Portrait of the ministry leader

Tean Butler — Founder & Teacher

Tean began Hear And Do Ministries out of a conviction that the Word of Yahweh is meant to be both treasured and lived. What started as personal study and conversations with family and friends grew into a wider calling: to teach Scripture plainly, point people to Yeshua our Redeemer, and encourage a faith that shows up in daily obedience.

Outside of teaching, Tean values family, home, and the kind of everyday faithfulness that rarely makes headlines but shapes a life — believing that the small, consistent acts of obedience are exactly where "hearing" becomes "doing."

Our Values

What Guides Everything We Do

Scripture First

We test every teaching against the whole counsel of Scripture rather than tradition or trend.

Grace-Rooted Obedience

We point hearers toward obedience that flows from faith — never toward works as a means of earning redemption.

Family & Community

We champion home, family unity, and love and forgiveness lived out in ordinary relationships.

Accessible Teaching

We teach in plain, edifying language so Scripture is open to people from every background.

Clarity Over Clutter

We avoid sensationalism and combative language, preferring clear, reverent, Scriptural instruction.

Christ-Centred Covenant

We read the whole Bible — law and gospel alike — as pointing to Yeshua our Redeemer.
